Data Analyst
Who are we?
Hi, we are Cineville: a fast-growing film club for anyone that wants to look further. What we do? We help (young) people discover as many great films as possible by giving them access to over 250 film theaters across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria and Sweden. With almost 160.000 members (and counting), our Cinevillers see more than 2 million movies together a year.
Cineville’s success is powered by our very own software ecosystem, composed of two systems: Cineville Digital and CultureKit.
Cineville Digital consists of a public-facing website, a mobile application, and an internal Content Management System (CMS). The website and mobile app are the primary user interfaces, offering access to information about Cineville, affiliated cinemas, films, festivals, reviews, articles, and the digital Cineville pass. Supporting these platforms, the CMS enables the content team to efficiently create, manage, and publish diverse content, like film articles and cinema details, using structured templates for delivery across both the website and app.
CultureKit serves as the core subscription and membership platform for Cineville, Podiumpas, and Nonstop Kino, representing the heart of Cineville's software infrastructure. Its robust API allows for seamless integration with venue Point-of-Sale (POS) systems to handle ticket sales, visit registration, and reservations, while also providing comprehensive programming data to websites and applications. This platform, built on a microservices architecture, is developed, managed, and hosted by the Cineville tech team utilizing the Google Cloud Platform.
Fueled by rapid growth, Cineville is building a new data platform to drive data-informed decisions across our ecosystem. We are seeking a proactive Data Analyst to join our Development Team and take ownership of analyzing our data and generating insights. Your work will directly support affiliated theaters, international Cineville teams, and internal stakeholders by providing clear, actionable insights. You will be part of our Development Team, which includes four Backend Developers, two Frontend Developers, a Product Owner, supported by the Director of Software and Services.
At Cineville, we believe that celebrating and stimulating diversity in all its forms is natural and important. It doesn't matter where you're from, what your background is, or who you are - everyone is welcome to join our film club. Film is meant for everyone, and so is this job opportunity.
